Owners get one decision: mark the sheet, once and permanently, with a pen.

A ream is five hundred sheets of paper. It’s also the collection size. Fourteen rulings across five types of stock. Each sheet is generated from a seed, a number that comes from its token id and decides everything on the page. Then two things happen to it. It gets older on its own, and its owner gets one decision to make.
Why paper
Journals, cahiers, binders, graph pads, notebooks, duo-tangs, sketchbooks, loose sheets, the green cutting mat that lived under everything else on the desk. Paper was always the surface the work happened on, and where the notes in the margin went during a lesson about something else.
Full Bleed is that surface. Five hundred sheets nobody has scribbled on yet,
made out of arithmetic instead of pulp. Whether it was math class
or art class, it all started with a blank sheet.
The sheets
Twelve traits describe every sheet. Two more record the mechanic: whether
the owner drew, and with which pen style.
Five types of stock, twenty-nine once you count the colours. Bond and pastel for the everyday stuff, construction paper, fluorescent card, and twelve green cutting mats that are not paper at all. Fourteen rulings: blank, chart, crosshair, dot, engineering, graph, index, ledger, margin, matrix, primary, ruled, slant, and the cutting mat's own grid. Ten sheets have no ruling at all.
No sheet was arranged by hand. The traits were set by the seed, and the seed comes from the token id.
It ages
One clock for the whole collection. It started the moment the contract was deployed and it stops fifty years later. Minor artistic license avoids parity with real life, it represents an accelerated emulation of natural aging. And not every sheet uses the whole time: fluorescent card is finished in about a decade, and bond takes forty or more. The clock stops depending on the material.
Paper yellows. Dyed stock bleaches. Ink fades at a rate that depends on the
kind of ink: carbon black barely moves in half a century, red and
violet dyes are gone long before that. Edges tan where air and
light get to them. Spots appear on the undyed stock and not on the dyed. The cutting mats collect blade scores instead.
Pen ink starts its own count on the day the mark is made, at the same
rate as the sheet it sits on. Two sheets drawn forty years apart are
the same age as paper but different as drawings. A sheet marked late
is fresh ink on old stock, and the clock stops before it ever catches
up: a mark made near the end stays fresh, permanently, against paper
that finished yellowing decades earlier.
The sheet you buy today is not the sheet you will be looking at in ten years, and nobody can do anything about that.
The token ages slowly and surely over
time, whether you are paying attention or not.
Your one decision
A sheet can be marked once, only by its owner, and never undone.
Or leave it blank.
The pen is not chosen by you. You commit, and the pen is picked by a block that had not been mined when you asked. Twelve ways the page gets marked: strokes, crosshatch, squares, spatter, vertical, waves, peaks, hatch, cluster, arcs, scribble, and morse (that genuinely decodes if you care to read it). Whatever lands is yours, permanently — the sheet cannot be sold or moved between committing and drawing, so nobody gets to look at the result and try again. The drawing ink joins the collection's same fifty-year clock and gets only whatever time remains. New marks close when that clock reaches fifty years.
All five hundred start without pen marks, and some of them might stay that way.

it happens gradually and automatically over time.
Fully on-chain
The sheets live on Ethereum and nowhere else. No image file, no IPFS hash, no server quietly paying its bills to keep the pictures alive.
When a wallet or a marketplace asks the contract for a token, the contract redraws it from the seed right then. The metadata comes from the same place. It is a plain SVG with no JavaScript, so it opens in any browser that can display images.
If every website connected to this project disappeared, the sheets would still be there and would still render.
Full bleed is a printing term for ink that runs off the edge of the sheet
instead of stopping at a margin. It is also literally true here:
marks run past the printed margin, and two of the twelve pen styles
leave the page on purpose.
